Debate & Quiz Competitions

The first online geo quiz competition was organised on 3rd Sep 2021 by Krishnanunni Memorial Charitable Trust in collaboration with the Geology Department of North East Hill University (NEHU) for the graduate students of Geology in the colleges of the North East.
It was organised very efficiently with state of the art technology by Prof. Devesh Walia, Head of the Department, Ms Meghali Baruah and Sri Shikar Kumar of the Geology Department. It was very much appreciated by every one of the 100+ participants.

On behalf of the KMCT I convey our profuse thanks to them. Dr Shailesh Nayak, our President gave the inaugural address. Dr J.Rajeswar, A D G, GSI NER has attended the programme and offered full cooperation from GSI. Family members of Sri Krishnanunni, wife Ms Latha, son Nitin, brother Mr. Narayanan, sisters Dr Dakshayani, Ms. Kamala and Ms.Indira also joined the programme. Dr Anupendu Gupta our Vice-President , gave the valedictory address.
The prize winners of the competition were Master Sumit Singha, of Guwahati (First), Master Anshuman Konwar of Shillong (second) and Master Kaushik Baisya of Guwahati (third). Those who could not join the programme can view the entire proceedings in the YouTube link provided by Prof.Walia.
